Are you planning on putting Hondata on the stock VX motor [d15z1]?


D15z1 yes; stock no. The engine needed some work (275,000+ miles) and I installed a new crank, advanced the timing, and boreed it out.


the only requirement is that it is a P07 that uses a 4wire O2. the 5-wire O2 ecu will not ...

'92 Honda Civic VX application

Hi,

I have a 1992 Honda Civic VX and want to install a Hondata system. The Honda ECU identification is:

37820- P07 -A00
670-101316

I emailed one of the dealers and he said the P07 had to be replaced with a P28. You will need a socketed ECU P28... He couldn't tell me why, just that I needed it ...
