It will run leaner, definitely. Maybe richer on the low end.
And personally, ive always been more of a fan of milling the head or decking the block, but to each their own.
My "H" needed new rings, but then it spun a bearing. So while tearing down for the new bearing, I decided to tear down ...

What effects will longer stroke/raising compression have?
For any/all who are interested, now and in the future:
What will happen if you run the exact same setup but with higher compression? Run richer, leaner, etc??
For example, I am running a h22 setup but I am switching out my crank and rods for f22 crank and rods bc they have longer stoke and that ...

Can you tell me more about this tune? From the notes (Stock JDM P72 (92-95 B18C Integra)), I can guess u used the b18c as your base and tuned it up to make it work.
Was this a dyno tune? Street tuned with a WB AF gauge?
street tuned with aem(inline)wideband
I never got a chance to try out ...

Need Basemap: H22a1, skunk2 intake/tb, exh, f22 crank&rods
I am still working on my new build, but I wanted to request this now. I need a safe basemap for:
H22a1
F22 crank and rods for higher compression (est 10.5:1)
Skunk2 Intake/tb
generic exhaust
I don't really expect to be lucky enough to find a basemap for the f22-stroke-swap, but I have the basemap ...

Re: need tune for stock d16z6 turbo @7psi.
It spools up at 3-3500 rpm's.. It pulls nice but cuts off at 5k rpm's. It my first time boosting but I was told a tune would do the trick.
Save your money and keep your foot off the gas until you take it and get it tuned by a pro. I put in the s300 about 2 months ago, and (even tho I am not turbo ...

u know the drill, right??...use at your own risk. I say that because I have the other most recent thread right now that is about how I almost/may have blew my motor while tuning with different basemaps.

Re: Need HELP! Sounds like I knocked something loose in h22
i fresh oil and filter when I installed this used motor about 300 miles ago. It sat up for months before I got it.
The oil light only flickers at operating temperature AND when the idle drops down to about 500-600. I check the oil routinely bc the previous owner told me up front that it burns a ...

Re: Need HELP! Sounds like I knocked something loose in h22
Also, at operating temperature, I have always seemed to suffer from low idle rpms. I can set idle to 800 or 1000, but it always tries to idle around 600. At that low of an idle, the oil light is usually flickering. I assume this is because the low idle is causing the oil pump to run slower???

Need HELP! Sounds like I knocked something loose in h22 :'(
Ok, so i went out street tuning the other night in my:
1995 Accord
H22a1 swap
Mugen Header
Skunk2 Intake/throttle body
p72 ecu w/s300
And by street tuning, I mean that I was only trying out different recommended basemaps and that I was only adjusting the fuel (as recommended by the "fuel change ...

Stock h22a(1)...which base map has the best ignition?
I am still learning to tune with my wideband whenever I get time every now and then. My 2d fuel tables are laughable...they look like a kid's etch-a-sketch.
Anyways, based solely on ignition for a stock or almost stock N/A h22a or h22a1....please post the best basemap you have personally used as a ...
