Professionally tuned but high idle when slowing down etc
Hi all,
I have a EG civic with a K20A2 swapped engine which I built four years ago roughly. Spec is as follows:
K20A2 stock UK engine
50 psi fuel pressure
RBC intake manifold
HR 70mm throttle body
PLM manifold
3" exhaust system
3" intake
Walbro 255
Basically the idle takes a long time to come ...

Re: K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
Sorted!! It's finally working :D :D :D
I've attached my data log.
It was the bung. I got my welding guy to replace it with a much shorter one and it's all working fine now with no errors at all and trimming perfectly.
Thanks for the help people :)

Re: K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
**UPDATE**
Tried my K Pro in my brothers EP3. Working fine.
Tried my o2 sensor in my brothers EP3 with my K Pro. Working fine.
So I thought it must be a wiring issue on my car. Re-made all connections. Same problem!!
However, I'm starting to wonder is the sensor far enough into the exhaust flow ...

Re: K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
I can't use wideband though as my ECU is UKDM PRA? Which'll only read narrowband right? Or is wiring it into the ELD input a completely different way of doing it?
My brother has a EP3 so I'll try as you've suggested tomorrow.
Thanks for the reply mate :)
You should get an aftermarket wideband ...

Re: K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
OK I've had a bit of a break through.
The sensor seems to be working OK but the S trim value doesn't increase and decrease like how I'd expect it too. It just creeps up to 46% then at 46% it puts the CEL on and stops working.
Doesn't matter how you drive, on or off throttle the S trim just creeps ...

Re: K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
Thank you for the reply Hondata.
I had a wire the wrong way round! I've just fixed that now and I'm now showing voltage in primary o2 :D
However. I'm still getting the error code P0131 after driving for a short time.
I'm almost there I think?
I've attached a new datalog to show this.

K Pro/narrowband closed loop issues
Hi all
I've been using K pro for three years now in my k swapped EG running in open loop. The cars always been a little jerky in part throttle and I'm trying to eliminate it. I've changed TPS for a hall sensor which works perfectly now. I'm going to get it tuned but my tuner advises me to wire up ...

Re: PLX SM-AFR Wideband with K Pro
I think this is the best option to be honest mate.
I'm going to get it properly tuned in open loop and run no lambda's. I think this is the best, well easiest option for EUDM PRA ECU people in all fairness.
Thanks for the reply mate.

PLX SM-AFR Wideband with K Pro
Hi all
Wonder if anyone can help?
At the minute I have a K swapped EG which I built from the ground up myself. After almost a year I've finally bought myself a K Pro. I've loaded a couple of different maps into it to try and on full throttle the car runs great. However, driving around town on part ...

Here's a couple of data logs. First one I went for a normal drive stop start traffic kind of thing from stone cold and the second one is five 3rd gear pulls from 1500 rpm to the limiter.
Thank you

Can you not wire a resister or something just to fool it? Sorry if that was a really dumb question. Lol.

Re: Does anyone have a map fo K20A2 please? RBC, 3" Exhaust?
**Update**
I've just loaded the "stock K20A2 map" from kmanager software and it now seems to run better and pretty much as it used too.
I've disabled secondary o2 (as I only have primary wired up) and disabled ELD and multiplexer. I thought my CEL would have gone out but it's still on though ...

Does anyone have a map fo K20A2 please? RBC, 3" Exhaust?
Hiya
Does anyone have a basemap I can download please?
I'm going to get it mapped properly next month but with buying the K Pro this month funds are a little tight.
K20A2 UK Engine
PRA UK ECU
RBC Inlet Manifold
Hybrid Racing Exhaust Manifold
3" full exhaust with no cat
