Fluctuating idle until 60°C ECT

i have everything figured out now. Except one thing: ONLY when i restart my car after driving around and letting it cool below 60°C it will do this until it reaches 60°C again. After 60°C it suddenly idles perfectly. Total coldstart also works. When heating up after a coldstart it takes a while for ...

Re: Closed Loop Malfunction

Same problem here. Do you guys only come across this problem when running closed loop of a wideband? I'm gonna weld in a second o2 bung and run on the stock narrowband. I think its the only option right now

I used d10 for my wideband and its still the same. It always occurs when the wideband is ...

Re: Fuel Minimum Compensation Load Based question

I think its a compensation that tapers up with rising load.

At idle its really not that dominant. I lowered the ect high load comp before because my car was running to rich if i put a small load on it when not warmed up yet. It didn't really help and i didn't set it back to normal. When i set my ...

What does the minimum fuel compensation do?

I can't find any information on what the "minimum compensation - load based" does under "fuel compensation".

What does it affect?

Re: ECU randomly disables closed loop

The wideband controller's highest output is 4.50v so it is supposed to be like that. I was a bit confused what you meant.

Ive changed a few fuel trim settings and now it seems tp work. I just drove around for an hour no problems. I have found these recommendations in another thread. I only changed ...

Re: Vtec disengages immediately after lifting of the throttle.

yeah i thought so. I'm fine by the way i have set it up now. I'm gonna post the calibration anyway so maybe there is something set up wrong. But I won't try and capture it on a datalog. My valvetrain would hate me :)

Re: ECU randomly disables closed loop

Aahhh sorry. Dont mind me spamming posts.

I get what you mean. The afr goes off scale when i let off the throttle and if i do it for to long the ecu thinks my o2 sensor is broken...
Is there a way to get around that?
Im gonna do research about my afr controller

Re: ECU randomly disables closed loop

seems like 13 minutes. not 20. right around 13:48 MIL was triggered stating "primary oxygen sensor"

Re: ECU randomly disables closed loop

I don't quite understand what you are explaining but setting up a 5v point on the lambda-voltage table seems to have helped.

No its throwing a cel after 20 minutes of driving... error window states "primary o2 sensor"

I guess that is because i left d14 unused and the plug is flappin in the breeze.

Re: Vtec disengages immediately after lifting of the throttle.

I'm sorry. I one have that one photo of it. Stupid me forgot to save the datalog and i don't wanna damage my valvetrain by doing it again

You can see the vts went to false as soon as i lift of the throttle even tho the rpm is still over my upper boundary of 5500 rpm

I'll post the calibration as ...

Re: ECU randomly disables closed loop

OKay, it acts up as soon as I let of the throttle and my gauge just reads off scale lean. Right after that I continue driving and it stays in open loop as long as I turn the ignition off and on again ( sry, I forgot to include that detail). is it because i set the lambda conversion table only up to ...
