Re: k24a FBO
Got the new IACV installed, Car is idling amazing now right around 900rpm. Made it around the block, came back and made some adjustments. Not sure when to pay attention to the knock count.

Re: k24a FBO
So Im sure its my IACV, i just took it apart and did some testing. I was able to block off the ports on my throttle body, but start up was rough and I cannot adjust my throttle cable any more to open up the throttle and do not want to adjust the screws on the throttle body. Looks like ill just order ...

Re: k24a FBO
I think the issue with mine is that it is stuck open. If I cover the opening in the throttle body I can hear the rpm’s come down. When disabling in kpro there is no difference. It is a brand new iacv so there is nothing to clean. I believe it is just faulty.

Re: k24a FBO
I’m thinking it’s the IACV staying open and pulling extra air into the manifold. Does using a block of plate change the tune? Or can I use the block off plate for now and then add the IACV later on?

Re: k24a FBO
Not sure what changes I did made my idle worse. Now at idle it will not come down below 2k. I thought it would be the TB plastic "thermal" gasket and ive tried two different styles of OEM style gasket with no changes. I also moved/changed my MAP sensor, did not help. I believe this was my issue when ...

Re: k24a FBO
Ok I was able to make the adjustments and got the car to idle. Start up is a little rough. Drove fine around the block. Idle is not perfect, doesnt want to come down below ~1.5k. Fuel map changes are looking more consistent and smooth compared to my last attempts. I recorded from start up and made a ...

Re: k24a FBO
So I tried updating the deadtimes and injector size but now the car will not idle. It will turn over and start up but rpms drop immediately and the car dies. Also what dead times should I be using, Neither made a difference but their site shows deadtimes for 43psi and 50psi?

k24a FBO
Dropped a k24a into my integra. Trying to work out the minor issues before getting a full tune. Would appreciate if someone could look over and give me some pointers.
