Is it still recommended to run a regular calibration with MAP settings enabled and NOT run a Race Calibration?

For 2006-2011 Honda Civic, R18A1 motor:
Allow for VTEC to be based on RPM's only, instead of: LOAD CONDITIONS + RPM's.
