Re: wanted Alpha n base cal for PRA ecu K20A2

Create a new PRA calibaration. Enable Alpha-n in it and adjust the table values for TPS % so it matches the PRB alpha-n calibration.

Then you can right click in the tables and select import from calibration and import them from the PRB calibration. You need to do this for each table. Takes some ...

Re: i need kal k20a2 ITB OBX

I'd recommend you use the alpha-n calibration in kmanager instead. Much better. I've been tuning Hondas with ITBs since early 04 and alpha-n or pure tps like used in Motec and other universal systems is by far the best compared to MAP with ITBs

Do you have access to a dyno ?

The AFR for e85 is different. The lambda however is similar.

Here's a link with some info:

You need to upgrade those injectors. E85 requires a lot more fuel, I ...

This is a very good idea I'd like to have implemented .

When you're on the dyno fiddling a lot with the intake cam gear it would save a lot of time .

if you have problems with knock try retarding ignition and/or adding fuel. Maybe the map is made for race fuel ?

when tuning you must disable closed loop.

Afterwards you enable it again.

a full day of training (5 stints) lost. We have no idea what to do now .

Going to call Hondata on Monday and see if we can find a solution, or the owner of the car might go for a new EMS. But I'm still not 100% sure ...

it was the battery voltage which was too low causing the daughter board comm errors :(
The car hasvery small light weight battery used for racing. It's the wrong place to save weight when it can't deliver enough amps and voltage. :?
Car runs great now and dynoed 225whp with a quick tune (because ...

you should be able to advance the timing a bit with higher octane. But I'll still recommend going to a dyno to see just how much you can advance it before the power starts to drop off

don't try and aim for the lowest point. You'll need to dyno the car and find out where the optimum point is.
I tuned a GSR once with to low compression and high lift cams and ended up moving VTEC to 6700.
Dyno without VTEC, then dyno with VTEC. Overlay the curves and the point that gives you most ...

Get rid of the VAFC ..Not necessary when you have Hondata. Hondata is the correct way to control both fuel and VTEC (especially VTEC..read about it onm hondata homepage ..tech..ODB1 ecu anatomy or something like that)

You might wanna get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator just to be on the safe ...
