Whats up guys? Quick question. So i got a dyno tune and my tuner sent me a copy of the tune through email. I installed kmanager on my laptop. But every time i try to download the .kal file it automatically brings k-manager up but nothing is there. Everything is blank (tables, parameters, etc.) and ...

I would check the wiring harness going to the O2 sensor to ensure it is not rubbed thru and intermittently touching the other wires or possibly a dirty connector where it plugs into the O2 sensor pigtail.

I notice that you said you are loading the KAL out on the road... Am I to assume you are using a AC/DC power inverter to power up your laptop.... OR are you running on the laptops battery power????

Make sure when you purchase the O2 sensor... it is actually for a 02-04, avoid touching the element surface, IF you are applying anti seize to the threads; dont apply too much.
The two manufacturers of quality sensors is either BOSCH and NGK (NTK).

Is there a USB cable coming from the ECU to indicate KPRO was installed?

Before contacting Hondata; I would gather more information to use in determining what has been installed. Find the ECU and document the serial number to provide along with the VIN#.

Doubt your still in need of a KAL by now..., but IF you are.... I have one for a stock Z1 with Injen CAI, enlarged TB, RBC IM, Hondata IMG, JR RH and Apexi WS2 exhaust.
You can probably use it as a place to start and fine tune it for your needs....

Not exactly sure what caused the problem...
Could have been the download of an earlier version of KManager....
You can download Display templates from this forum... and then load them into the Display...
I presently have a selection of four templates that I can use for the Datalog Display.

UPDATE: Took me a while, but finally resolved the issue !!!

Worked with Hondata and Church Automotive over the phone and email.... Many THANKS to Hondata and Church Automotive for their time helping me troubleshoot this problem....

Thanks for the recommendation..., but that would require that the program in the ECM have that same updated program...
I am not knowledgable enough to download and reload the program on to the ECM.

UPDATE for what I have found and ruled out.... over the past week.

Since this problem happened I have searched more thru the drop down menus and options... and found nothing.
Even went to the extent of removing the program and drivers from the notebook which I use for datalogging and nothing ...

KManager version 1.2.3.3 installed in a '06 Type S.
After saving a datalog during a run up a local mountain.... the individual readings for ECT, IAT, RPM, A/F etc... in DISPLAY mode disappeared and a blank white area remains...
I can still datalog and monitor the change of readings in SENSORS mode ...

When I purchased KPro and had it installed and Dyno Tuned at Church Automotive....; the version of K Manager that was used was 1.2.2.8 and the new version is 1.2.2.9.
Recently had to format my notebook that had the previous version of KManager loaded...
When I reloaded my programs... I did not have ...
