Thanks for the follow up! Once I've verified it all works I'm likely to trim off all the internal wiring that used to go to the igniter and coil (black/yellow, blue, and yellow/green) to keep it clear of the rotating parts.

Anyone make an inexpensive, clean, sealed cover for the distributor for CPR? I like the CNC one posted in the forum earlier, but this is for a race car so I'm not worried about "bling" ("inexpensive" being the key word).

<shrug> My AFX works fine, as expected. I'd suggest rechecking your wiring, especially the grounds, and confirm the AFX output using a VOM.
