I got my car tuned boost by gear and I have 19 psi during first gear and I wanted to lower it to 10 psi. I dont have my map saved on my smanager since i forgot to get it from the tuner. I noticed that when i download a map from the ecu to my smanager, it always prompts you and states" Check all ...

Gear Ratios in calibrations
I have a stock obd1 b16a with a s1 cable transmission. I have ran the motor with a stock p30 map with stock b16 s4c gear ratios and stock ls s1/ys1 gear ratios and i havent noticed a difference between the two. Is there a power change if i set my gear ratios to the b16 s4c ratios vs the s1/ys1 gear ...

normally on closed loop, i believe, your ecu gets feedback from your O2 sensors to adjust your A/F ratio, therefore you dont run lean or rich. when you run in open loop, what does your ecu get feedback from? I heard it gets it from your ECT sensor, is that correct? or does it just run off ...

so a friend told me that Perhaps my ECT sensor is failing. The ecu uses this sensor to adjust fuel enrichment for cold/hot conditions, which makes sense cuz my car takes a while for it to start when its cold, and check this out, if i crank engine over when cold, it will take about 10 seconds for it ...
