chris, hey what island are you from? who did the hondata tuning for you?

I have another question...

First I will have to aquire a obd1 ecu. someone told me that I can use a P28 ECU, isn't that ecu from a 92-95 sohc vtec motor? will that ecu still work with my car? 00' civic si (b16a) or should i look for a P72, or P30?

I realize the s200 comes with a hella lot more goodies then the S100, but I dont have any idea on how to tune the system itself, with that in mind is there any reason why i should get the S200 system. I'm also not a hardcore racer so you wont find me at the track every weekend.

damn, this answers my question. It sucks to have an obd2 car. I thought I could have affordable fuel management for under $800.00 or so. but im looking at $495 (s100 w/boost) plus the cost of an OBD1 P72 ECU, Plus Dyno Time, and tuning.... sheesh. looks like i gottah save a bit more.

ultrab20, I sent you an email about tuning. There maybe a slight problem... I live on the big island, and i dont know of ANY hondata tuners on the big island.

will any wideband o2 sensor work with hondata?

I read a recent "Import Tuner" magazine, and in it there was an article on hondata. I've always wanted hondata but I know of nobody who uses it and can tune the system in hawaii. However after reading the magazine it stated that you guys have a Dealer/Tuner for Hondata in hawaii!! I was wondering if ...

how does this work? If i wanted hondata, i buy from a "hondata" dealer, and am i supposed to explain to me the setup I have on my car, then they will send me the appropriate base map???

I would also like to know where I can get a hondata S200 tuned here on the Big Island. I hear great things about hondata, but it's not worth it to me here if there is nobody who can tune it.
