S300 Roaming O2 Voltage Offset

Post by brynaninja »

Hello I have a 1990 Honda with an S300. I am working with an online tuner to do a street tune after some engine work.
Everytime that I get a calibration it seems that I need to reset the O2 voltage offset.
1st run) Offset @ (-0.4)
2nd run) Offset @ (-0.9)
3rd run) Offset @ (-1.4)

Could this be from the wire that connects the O2 gauge/sensor to the ECU?
It does have a butt connector in it, but I didn't think that would throw it out randomly.

Thanks,

It is a new AEM O2 gauge, it runs the 5v sense wire to the ECU, it has a butt connector in it, which might do it.
The gauge has its analog + and - wires connected as well. The O2 sensor is new as well.
It doesn't seem to roam once I reset it for that particular drive. I can drive it around for an hour and it stays matching.
