I know that the live tuning tables will update as you edit them when the engine is running (Key On/Engine On) but what about when you've keyed the ignition to the ON position with the engine off? Can you update the tables with the engine off (all green checkmarks on FlashPro Manager), and then will the ECU remember these live tables as you fire the engine from that Key On/Engine Off state? Or does the ECU "forget" them even though you haven't cycled the ECU off?
I know if everything is off, the live tables cannot be updated until after the engine is running and the Flashpro/Laptop have established a connection with the ECU. For tuning stuff like the cold start tables this is important to know.
Live Tuning question concerning Key On/Engine Off state
Re: Live Tuning question concerning Key On/Engine Off state
If the ignition is turned off, then you will need to either reupload or update the live tuning tables from the online menu when it is turned back on.

Re: Live Tuning question concerning Key On/Engine Off state
Thank you, i understand that part. My question is related to the following:
Press the start button twice without having your foot on the clutch pedal. Everything powers up but the engine remains off. Now, with a flashpro/laptop connected to the car, the live tables are updated, correct? Now, start the car by pressing the clutch pedal in and press the start button once (don't switch off - just start the car). Do the live tables survive this type of start scenario?

Re: Live Tuning question concerning Key On/Engine Off state
to be sure you should upload or use the update live tables.
• If the ignition is switched off and then on, the live tuning tables will reset to default values. This does not mean the tables are reset to stock values; they are reset to the values from the last calibration upload. eg if an ignition table value is 20° when the calibration is uploaded, and via live tuning you edit the calibration to 24°, then the ECU will reset the ignition to 20° if the vehicle ignition is cycled. However, if you have the FlashPro connected to the vehicle, then FlashProManager will recognize a 'key-off key-on' event, and will upload all the changes to RAM. There also is a menu command to force the update of the ECU RAM.
