CANBoost not working
CANBoost not working
K24Z7 turbo setup using the CanBoost 9thGen.
The car was properly tuned on the dynamometer, and the boost control system worked perfectly during dyno tuning.
However, once driving on the street, the boost control target does not change at all — neither increasing nor decreasing. It remains completely static, as if there is some kind of malfunction. My tuner has attempted several software adjustments, but none have resolved the issue.
The boost pressure does rise above the wastegate spring pressure, but there is no BC duty being displayed.
Out of curiosity, I checked the E/B CAN module, and I noticed that the red CAN light keeps blinking continuously, whether the car is on or off.
I understand that the E/B CAN unit has both a green and a red LED, but I have not found any clear information explaining their operation or what the correct behavior should be.
Could someone help me understand the possible cause of this issue?
Is a blinking red light the normal operating condition, or does it indicate a fault?

Re: CANBoost not working
What happens if you unplug the E/B/CAN box and then plug it back in?
Re: CANBoost not working
When I plug it back in, it turns on the green and red lights for about 0.3 seconds. Right after that, it goes back to the red light blinking continuously.
At the output to the 4-way solenoid, it always has 12 volts.

Re: CANBoost not working
With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.
Re: CANBoost not working
What was the date that it was tuned on the dyno?
Re: CANBoost not working
The dyno tuning was completed on January 29, 2026.
Today I discovered something interesting: I lowered the boost control pressure all the way down, and the car responded by running only on the wastegate spring pressure (3/4psi).
I will continue testing, but it seems like a possible system bug where the BC Duty% is not being displayed in log. Even though it appears to be varying according to the values set in the table.
I am currently adjusting the table and retuning the car on the street, and it seems that the boost control is actually working. The sound is working. However, in the software show the BC Duty 0%, BC Target appears -29.9.
I will continue testing and proceed with tuning the car without relying on electronic boost duty monitoring for now.
The light in E/B Can is blinking red always.

Re: CANBoost not working
Download and install the most recent version of software at: http://hondata.com/updates/FlashProMana ... 7-Full.exe
See if it properly datalogs using that software.

Re: CANBoost not working
Not working.
I tested it again, but the boost cut is still occurring.
Just to clarify, I’m using a 3 psi spring in the wastegate. That means the pressure does rise, but both BC Duty and BC Target remain at zero / null.

You do not have the software in the above link. You must install this version: http://hondata.com/updates/FlashProMana ... 7-Full.exe
Re: CANBoost not working
I installed the new software version you indicated, and the update completed successfully.
My question is whether I need to re-register the car's data after this update. I checked my last registration, and BC Target and BC Duty still seems to unchanged.
Please let me know if a new registration is necessary for the changes to take effect.
By the way, thank you for your support.

Re: CANBoost not working
Upload your calibration to the ECU using the new version and then do a new datalog.
Re: CANBoost not working
I did a quick datalog, and that actually solved it — Boost Control on the 9th gen is working properly now.
Great job on the support! The car is feeling really sharp.
I love the K24Z.
