If the tachometer doesn't show progress does that mean that the upload did not work? This is on a 2008 Civic Si. I'm on 4.6.5 with upgraded firmware.
The temp gauge does go dim, but I'm having a problem after I installed a hybrid racing intake and ZDX TB. The car already had a race header, high flow cat and 3 inch exhaust, it worked with those. Its obviously firing on 3 cylinders and a misfire reported on cylinder 1. I'm trying to understand, if it's something I touched or if the tune isn't even reaching the ECU correctly.
I have tried two MAP-based tunes and neither show the tachometer moving. Even though FlashPro manager reports the calibration uploaded successfully.
Tachometer progress not showing on upload
Re: Tachometer progress not showing on upload
Post the calibration that you are trying to upload.

Of the two I was trying, one is locked so you won't be able to examine it. The other is one of the stock MAP-based tunes.
- from the stock list
FG2/FA5, MAP based, AEM V2 CAI, race header, highflow cat, stock catback

Re: Tachometer progress not showing on upload
That is a race calibration and does not have these features and we no longer update or support the race calibrations. Instead, you should use an AFM based calibration that can also be tuned via MAP.

Re: Tachometer progress not showing on upload
Just so I'm understanding what you're saying here. You're stating the because this is a race calibration and therefore no longer supported, you can't provide me with an answer? Or are you saying, because it's a race calibration, and no longer supported, those calibrations do not upload correctly via Flashmanager Pro?
I ask the difference, because the first says, the issue may well be on your car, but I can't help you find it, since those calibrations aren't supported. The 2nd says, those calibrations just don't work anymore and so just find an appropriatre AFM with MAP calibration and you should be fine.

The Race calibrations don't have the same features and are not updated with them, so it is recommended to not use them since you can tune via MAP using the AFM calibrations now.

Okay thanks for the clarification
