Issue: KManager - Wideband Closed Loop on Startup

Post by haatchy »

Quick run down of my setup;

K24a RBB
KPro v4
AEM 30-0300 Wideband / White Wire 5v - ANALOG 0(+), Brown Wire - ANALOG(GND)

Main Issue: Starting up the car with Closed Loop operation enabled, makes the car run extremely lean for the first few seconds as the AEM Wideband is outputting <0.5 volts (sensor not ready). Is there a way to delay Closed Loop operation for a duration just like on SManager? Having to wait until the sensor is ready is kind of ridiculous. I've been scouring the net looking for ideas or ways to work around this but just haven't came across anything.
I'm familiar with SManager and the way it's done on there, very simple and straight forward. Assuming that KPro is newer tech, I don't see why it wont be possible.

I recommend that you turn the ignition to the on position before starting it so that the O2 heater can warm up first.
