Bad ECT fuel compensation

Post by Garrett_si »

I street tune a B18c5 today using the new ITR stock map in sManager

When the car is colder about 160 F, it run lean (14:1) WOT

when the car is warmer 180-200F, it run 13:1 WOT

the ECT compensation seem not to be good

Is it possible to modify the ECT fuel compensation? I try without succes

You shouldn't be going wot until the car is fully warmed up.

the car was warm up, but the thermostat was fluctuating

This is why I saw the bad ECT compensation

I actually replace the thermostat, but the ECT compensation problem still there, if the engine temperature change

You have a problem if the coolant temp is fluctuating between 160 and 200. You may have a bubble or have a bad radiator cap.
