K20Z1 I/H/E tune?

Post by Cha27se »

Anyone have a calibration for just short ram intake, megan shorty header, magnaflow cat back. Or basicly just intake header exhaust? Im using the one that came with kpro right now and it really doesnt seem much quicker than stock. I noticed with the stock ecu, acceleration is pretty smooth from low rpm to redline, the kpro seems choppy The only noticable thing is the obvious vtec engagment around 4600, just for some reason doesnt seem a whole lot quicker. No where near the 15-20 hp they claim. Im new to datalogging and trying to figure that out. But for now, I just wondered for now if anyone had something i could try and see if its a better start than the one i have now. Thanks

Do a datalog and post it like every other one.

So I tweaked a few personal settings and loadeD that calibration this morning. Felt like the power delivery was way smoother. Felt pretty damn good. I can data log, but for some reason my af ratios aren't working. Dataloging is kinda pointless without af ratios right? I have a check engine light for a/f no signal activity or something. I thought I read it's a common problem if you don't rev your car or drive away right after you start it.... Any pointers?

Yes you need to get the o2 sensor problem fixed asap. Glad to hear it felt better though.

So I tried to trouble shoot my no af ratio situation and determined I just needed a new o2 sensor. Anyways that will be here Friday. I made a little data log anyway and noticed +20 knocks on one pull of third and a little of 4th. Is 20 a lot for one run and is it worth posting for someone to fix or should I just wait for the new 02?

knock could be caused by lean condition, so I would not recommend any new runs until getting the o2.

ok, i got a new 02 sensor and things seem to be a lot better. Now i can do a pull with the base map and the car doesnt knock at all. Here is my datalog from the bottom of 2nd if anyone can tweak it a little.
