ANYONE??? I'm getting 124 degrees IATs. Is that too high?
Re: K20Z1 RBC/IMG/Injen SRI/DCRH/2.25" Exhaust
Assuming this is in 'F' and not 'C'. . .my car is currently running this high temp but its mainly because its getting the air feed from inside the engine. . .i need to run a ducting to see if and how much it helps.
my ambient temp is 30c

Dude. You need a lot of tuning. LOL.
First of all, I give you props for actually posting a thread with datalogs in an effort to try and make it better. Even if you didnt attach the kal you used. And did the log in closed loop. *derp*
I am sure there are plenty of people that have downloaded my kals over the years that were designed for 1 persons car and then think "well mines close I should be ok" Your logs show why that is NOT the case.
is this a swap or a stock 05/06 Type S? Your cam sensor might need to be changed because its shaky as heck.
Oh and yes, you are suffering the dreaded heatsoak. I suffered this hardcore with my RSX when I was rocking a v2. My recommendation is to get a CAI or figure out some sort of modified setup as someone else mentioned.

It's a 05 Type-S with original k20z1. I will post a better log of a 3rd gear 2000-redline and a normal drive for like 10 mins. And ill make sure to do it open loop this time. Im gonna try to shield the filter a little bit but I don't want a CAI cuz I live in Miami. Thanks for the help guys.

Sounds good. At 10% to the whole high cam for protection for the next log.

Don't know what that means. How do I do that?keto06 wrote:Sounds good. At 10% to the whole high cam for protection for the next log.
Wasn't able to upload the 10min cruise datalog but here is the 2000-redline one recorded in open loop.

Slightly different, same concept.
Open kal -> select high cam fuel tables -> select edit all tables -> highlight whole table -> Open this screen
http://www.hondata.com/images/techlambdatarget.gif
Mine is CTRL+J. Add 12 next to the box with "Percentage adjustment". Then unselect "edit all tables."
Save kal. Do new datalog (just like the last one) and then upload the kal with the new log.
I'll help you from there, but your car needs more top end fuel on the ASAP!

This is the original one I used. I think its the 224hp one with the dyno sheet you have in another thread.

Re: K20Z1 RBC/IMG/Injen SRI/DCRH/2.25" Exhaust
Did another and it ran like crap. Did not go passed 5k because like at 3500 there was LOUD crackling from the exhaust and it wouldn't accelerate correctly. It sounded and felt horrible!
