S300 V2 - Data logging problems

Post by Lyle_57IAL »

Hey !

I have some very strange problems with my S300 V2 and datalogging. P28 from 92-95 civic

When triggering the data log input ACSW, SCS, BKSW (tried all of these). (under the sensor tab) - the associated sensor input will trigger consistently every time. However whenever one of the inputs is used to start the onboard data logger it will not always trigger the sensor and start the data logger.

Sometimes it will correctly, sometimes it will not at all, and sometimes it will make all then sensors and data on the display flash between 0 and full scale ???. When i try run a recording with the laptop it will run for a little when and then everything will flatline.

I have tried re-soldering both the 20pin and 4 pin connections on the board but still the same problem. Running the latest Smanager, but have also tried it with earlier versions and no fix to the problem.

What could be the route cause? hardware, software? please any insite would be great
