I'm also looking to swap the more powerful j37 into my 09 ridge.. I really think even a reflash for the j35 that comes from the factory would be popular...I would purchase in a heartbeat...the v6 tune would cover pilots, odyssey accords tl's.... so many. I really think hondata would profit from this decision.

Reviving an old thread here, I know. Support for the Ridgeline would be awesome. The J37 swap has been proven and if Hondata would support it I'm sure more people would be willing to go for it.

I have a 2019 RL and have completed the the intake upgrade and dual exhaust from Gibson performance. Need the reflash to make it all work in it full potential without getting the error message that the engine is running to lean. Air to fuel mix is too high. Please reconsider this one time.

Hondata, please consider giving us a tuning solution like you did with the Gen 1 Ridgeline. My truck is a 2023, and I would gladly pay a heavy premium for a KPro or FlashPro. My last three cars were all Civics and all were Hondata tuned (the last one was a '15 Si with FlashPro). There are countless numbers of us who will gladly pay whatever the cost is for a Hondata tuning solution for our 17-23 Ridgelines, along with those driving Pilots and Passports.

+1 2017 Honda Ridgeline Touring (CDNSpec) chiming in to add to the choir of voices singing out for a tuning solution for our trucks. There are many of us here in the Great White North who would pay good money to get the most out of our CAI, j-pipe and exhaust mods. Please do this!

Why is there still no solution for the Gen 2 ridgeline?

You guys offer a j swap kit but not a solution to later model j engine vehicles. The community is just trying to understand why?

Because the development effort is based on the ECU not the engine. The j swap uses the TL development we had already done.

This type of question comes up a lot where people like to group the product development by engine. At that point I usually mention that the two closest FlashPro we ever made were the 2006+ S2000 and 2007-8 Fit. ECU code is almost identical, tables are almost identical, ECUs are probably 98% the same. But looking at the 2007-8 TL (or any other V6) and Ridgeline there might only be a 20% similarity. Even between generations the ECU can be completely different.

Also I think people underestimate the time and cost to develop a FlashPro. It's not a couple of thousand dollars. For a start we have to purchase a vehicle. We have limited resources and have to apply them the best we can to sustain a business.

Having said all that we'd like to do a FlashPro for the Ridgeline and will if we can get the opportunity.

Oh ok thank you for the reply. I've been checking every few months since 2018 when I got my Gen 2 ridgeline. We really appreciate what you guys do for us a a community. We couldn't make our hondas quick af with out you guys. Thank you for clarifying. Just curious when you need a truck just let me know I will donate mine to the cause I've been thinking about getting a 2025 ridgeline and keeping my 2017. I'll drive it out to Cali and leave it with you guys if it helps. Lol we just wanna go fast. Could you imagine a boosted ridgeline winning with a trailer behind it? Music to our ears. Thank you again have a great night bro!
