spunkster, can you please clarify this wiring for me? there is 2 wires for this switch we are talking about, which 1 goes to the ecu. I know I need to cut one wire that is ground that goes into the ecu. what about the other wire? should I leave this uncut? thank you.

It is just a single wire with a switch inline that is either open or closed.

Just a confirmation on the clutch switch...I can use the clutch switch that gets depressed when I push my clutch pedal to the floor, right? Or no?

My car doesn't have the switch for cruise control that gets depressed when the clutch is out. All that is there is the clutch pedal slack adjustment bolt.

You should use the cruise control clutch switch that is released when you depress the clutch.

What I was trying to say is that I do not have that switch. Or am I looking in the wrong place? My car originally did not have cruise control, are the switches there regardless? I will look for it again tonight...

Well I looked again for the switch, and there is nothing there. Only the adjustable clutch pedal stop is at the top. The only switch that works off the clutch pedal is the one that gets depressed when you push the clutch pedal to the floor. I guess I need to buy a switch or find one off a junk yard car??

If you don't have cruise control, then you will need to get that switch and install it and run the wires for it.

Hello, this is my first post and I think Hondata is awesome!

I have a question about the full throttle shfit. What are people doing for downshifting? I have my full throttle shift set at 6k RPM's. If I want to downshit and I am traveling at a speed that requires my engine to be above 6k, then obviously it just dumps it back down to 6k clutch in for the downshift.

It would be really cool if there was "TPS % condition" option so that you could set it to only kick in when you are actuallly flooring it.

Just wanna let spunkster know that I dont think ur explaining this well. Both switches have two wires while u state they dont. but then u say to jump the 2 wires if u want to keep cruise control. So doing this will not allow the clutch to release cruise, correct? I c what u mean, jump the two together coming FROM the cruise control, then use one wire for the fts?

Can u just tap into so itl work both ways? and not have to jump em for cruise to still work?
