Hey everyone. Just getting ready to put in a new Hondata s200 Unit with boost.
Was wondering is there anything special i'm going to need to know? Or going to need to have??
Any info you can give me would be great.

Not trying to be a dick, but I would read the entire site. It's what I did [and I don't have Hondata yet...but I'm planning on re-reading it right when I'm about to install it]. Take a day or two and go through the entire Hondata website, and then go through the entire message board. You'll be surprised at what you come out knowing.
It's really impossible to tell someone all the special things they'll need to know. One way to learn is by trial and error. Another way to learn is by OTHER'S trials and errors, and their posts on the board.

Use a ZIF socket. My first time pulling the chip, I broke one of the pins on the 28-pin stacker. I'd hate to have that happen to my ROMulator.

Finally got my S200B...now where can I find a 28 pin zif socket?

I ordered a couple of ZIF sockets and chips from them. They should be here later this week. Until then, I'll just be running the ROMulator with the laptop all the time. I should have used the ROMulator on a spacer socket to keep from bending the pins on the ROMulator and that on top of the ZIF instead of directly onto the ECU socket.
The only place I could find the 28-pin spacer sockets was on ebay. Hopefully I'll win the auctions and if you need some, I can forward some to you.

How many sockets do you need? My ECU is en route to Hondata for socketing [they supply the socket]. I also bought my Hondata through a dealer in AL, and in the "kit" came two more sockets. So I'll have one socket soldered in the ECU and two that I can use as spacer sockets. Will this be enough to let the ZIF clear the baro sensor?
I appreciate the offer also ben!
Will the lid still close on the ECU with the spacer sockets and a ZIF socket with the chip installed? Should I go with the low profile ZIF or the regular ZIF?

I don't know for sure on that stuff. I'm still trying to feel things out myself.
It looks like you'll need at least 3 and maybe 4 to fully clear the pressure sensor.
I'm pretty sure that the ZIF socket won't clear the cover (regardless of which profile you get). Some people have cut out a rectangular section to allow the ZIF socket and chip to protrude from the cover and allow them switch the ROMulator or chips in and out with ease. I like that idea, but not so much on the chip sticking out. If that's the way it has to be, then so be it b/c I'd much rather not be breaking pins left and right trying to pull them out.
I also missed the end of the first auction for the sockets, so maybe I'll hit up Kyle at Wired Speed or another Hondata dealer to get the sockets quickly.
I did find these randomly on-line, but I'm not sure how well that'll work:

I got my (2) ZIF sockets and (3) 29C256 28-pin chips today. He had them over to me in two days via USPS Priority Mail.
I'll get things together tomorrow with the Hondata and take some pics for you to see how it clears the pressure sensor.

Yup. Also, see the other post I created for the 28-pin sockets that you can get from Digikey.

I thought I'd pass this on since the high profile ZIF sockets I got from moates couldn't clear the pressure sensor w/o stacking up the sockets to the point of having to cut a hole in the casing.
The ZIF socket featured here will clear the pressure sensor w/o stacking up the sockets adapters.
