Flashpro gear compensation

Can you please confirm that Flashpro has gear compensation, I was pretty sure about this until I read something on S2ki in the engine management section.
I'm about to order rear diff gears with a lower numerical ratio (3.636), thanks.

I think you're confusing two different things:
- compensation tables which use gear as an index, such as 'Gear ignition compensation'.
- gear ratios tables used by the ECU.
The former are present in the S2000 FlashPro but the latter are not.

I don't have access to my flashpro so I'm looking at the software demo calibration.
I saw the ignition compensation by gear and from what you're telling me it does work.
When I select calibration it shows a table with the gear ratio:
Gear Ratios
The transmission gear ratios can be set here. This is necessary for the correct operation of cruise control if the ratios have been altered from stock.
This is where I would input my new final drive ratio right? Is this the table that you're telling that doesn't work?
When I select sensors it shows it shows a speed box:
Speed adjustment (ECU) X%
Speed adjustment (dash) X%
This is where I would make fine adjustment based on GPS, etc, right?
In a nutshell please tell me that I don't have to install a speedo healer in order to alter the VSS going to the ECU, thanks

I just click on the select button in calibration and realized that the S2000 gear ratios are not there...
Would inputing +11.3% in the sensor speed adjustment ECU & dash give me the same results?

There are differences between the Civic Si and S2000. With the Civic, the dash (and speedo) are driven by the ECU. With the S2000, the dash (and speedo) is driven directly from the speed sensor, and cannot be adjusted by the ECU. Thus if you change final drives, the speedo will be incorrect.
The secondary problem that you'll have is from changing the engine rpm to road speed ratios. These are used for gear calculation and cruise control. In your case the internal vehicle speed determined by the ECU will be incorrect, but I believe that because all the gears ratios will be 11% different both gear determination and cruise control should still work. If it was a differential driven speed output rather than countershaft driven it would not have worked.

Thanks for the thorough explanation, looks like I'll have to intercept the VSS signal with a Speedohealer.
