Soft Rev. Limiter. How to fix with S300 ?

To complement the built in Rev Limiter, which cuts Fuel/Ignition,
I,m looking for an allternativ way to stop the engine from reving past 9000rpm.

The reason is a close ratio gear set (from mFactory), which limits my top speed to 203km/h in 5th gear.
This fits almost all circuits in Sweden, except Anderstorp, that has a very looooong main straight.

I want to be able to hold 100% throttle for a few seconds, without hitting the Fuel/Ignition rev cut.

Can I loose so much power, by retarding the ignition xx-degrees, between 8800-9000rpm, that the car stops accelerate/reving in 5th gear?
Is it possible to handle the extra EGT, that is caused by the retarded ignition, by adding more fuel ?

-----------------
I'm running 30 degrees advanced timing in the High Speed table, 70%-100% throttle from 6000-9000rpm.
What is the lowest "safe" timing between 8500-9000rpm?
-----------------

The engine is a B16A with Blox Tybe-B cams, 12,5:1 comp., ITB, and 4-2-1 5Zigen 2,5'' header.
Power output is 191bhp.
------------------

Bets regards.

A simple thing you can do is lift slightly, then you have no concerns of high egts and running on the limiter.

Just a thought.

Well, that's not really an option.

First, lifting off make the car slow down.
And i want to maintain speed.

Second, don't want to mess around with lift offs, in the heat of the action.

This should work.

What you say ?
--------------------
If Activation is set to "Always On" than the Launch Control will retard the ignition at 8522rpm.
Or,
I can have an "Activation switch" and only use this function in 5th gear.

The high "Maximum Speed" setting will result in no disengagement of the "launch limiter"
