I installed a new +09 Acura TL 79mm TB on my 2007 S2000 w/ Flashpro. All the installation went smooth and the car runs OK. But after a couple of days of daily driving this CEL(P1129 "MAP sensor signal higher than expected") comes up. I tried using the map sensor from the s2000 manifold, and the map sensor from TL TB as well and same result. After the CEL comes up, the car goes into safe mode and have to clear DTC with flashpro. Yesterday, i changed to the OEM S2000 TB and haven't experienced this issue.

I'm I missing a TB tune using the flashpro? Any recommendations or past experiences?

It is not the MAP sensor - it is because the TPS reads differently on the TL throttle body than the S2000.

Any known way to make it work? Dont see this problem from the CivicSi (k20/k24) with this throttle??

hi , after this issue couple of years ago. I ended up installing the oem throttle body again. Problem dissapeared.

a couple of weeks ago I installed a 4 bar hondata map sensor and after a couple of drives its giving me that p1129 code again.

any ideas? it seems to be obvious that after installing a non oem map sensor is giving me this problem.

Did you change the map sensor in the calibraton and upload to the ECU?

yes. i chose hondata 4 bar map in the sensors section. and uploaded map.

If you go back to the stock map sensor does the error come back?
