Hey all,

I've got a DC5R with a JRSC @ 9psi 725cc ID injectors.
Car starts first turn when cold. But when the car has been sitting for about an hr or two, half warm, the car will take about 5 cranks to start.

Attached is a screenshot of my current cranking pulses. What would be recommended to improve the cranking?

Unfortunately this is fairly common with IDs. The cranking fuel table looks ok (very close to what I use with 750cc RC injectors). I would also check the injector voltage compensation (dead times) since manufacture supplied values are often wrong.

What you can do is increase the cranking fuel 5% at a time and see how it affects starting. You can datalog each start and see what the AF does immediately after starting, but generally too little fuel requires a lot of cranking and too much fuel makes then engine stumble with a low idle for several seconds after starting.

If you have no luck this it might pay to check your fuel pressure regulator (for leaks) and get the injectors tested, as sometimes these cause the same symptoms.
