DTC P0606 PCM failure

Hi

Maybe anyone has seen similar trouble.
Boosted R18 A/T on MAP-sensor calibration.
Everything is Ok under low boosts and part-load. On boosts higher than 10 psi and after 5000 rpms we have "DTC P0606 PCM failure". It looks like fuel cut-off and DTC jumps within 1-2 seconds after.

The only suspicion I have is "knock level" goes to 99% right before the cut-off. But no audible knocks, no knock counts.

Please, help...

Hello, Spunkster.

R2Racing is my tuner. (Dmitrie Murigin)
I registered here to post info.

We use Hondata flashpro version 1.2.8. My car is Civic 4D R18 AT. We use US AT ECU. We use MAP tuned maps with 4 bar hondata map sensor.
Time ago we used unichip to control boost (boost controler). But then i decided to turn it off (totally) and use external waste gate with 1.1 bar spring.
Then we started having that error. Everything was checked fine.

We saw on other forum, that someone solved this problem by changing spurks, knock sensor + injectors. We done this, but error still happen :(
Our fuel pressure is good too no leaks.

Please help us. Thank you.

The problem is because the knock processor is seeing enough noise from the engine to the point where it thinks there is a problem. Usually further ignition timing tuning will fix this, but from your datalog I see a lot of noise at mid load, so it could be from the knock sensor picking up mechanical noise from the engine.

Maybe engine Bearing or automatic transmission? We gotta check this.

We checked. There is no noise from engine etc... :(

Any more ideas?

Going from your datalog, something is not right with the engine. You're getting knock at idle (around 2:05) and the manifold pressure is quite high (50 kPa, 30 kPa would be normal).
