FP cannot detect gears 5 & 6

Hi hondata,

I noticed FP cannot read gear 5 and 6.

What could the issue be?

I am trying to retard higher gears using the gear ignition compensation table.

THanks!

How are you determining that it is not working? Calibration? Datalog?

The above log shows WOT pulls from gears 1 to 5.

The point where the cursor is is supposed to be gear 5 but FP is still detecting it's in gear 4. When shifting to gear 5 from gear 4, there's a valley in the graph showing gear 3 is detected for a brief moment. The same valley occurs at the beginning of gear 4 as well.

Is this my gearbox problem or is there a glitch in the software?

Appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Vehicle market & model? Do you have standard transmission ratios? Does the speed read correctly? With the calibration we can see what the speed compensation is too.

2008 asian AP2.

Final drive is changed to 4.57.

ECU speed compensation set to -11%.

Not surprisingly, it's from the final drive swap. Currently there is no way to compensate for this in the ECU.

The final drive is at the rear axle. It affects all the way to the front at the gearbox?
