The instruction said "Purchase an OBD I intake air temperature sensor (about $50) and mount in the blower manifold. The OBD I air temperature sensor is a variable resistor and can be wired onto the OBD II wiring in any way."

There is already a mounting on the JR intake manifold for the OBD I IAT sensor. You simply tap the OBD I IAT sensor wiring to the existing IAT sensor, but remove the connector from the stock IAT sensor.

Does "wiring in any way" mean that we can connect any of the 2 wires to any of the 2 pins on the OBDI sensor ?

Thanks

Yes, that's precisely it. A 2-wire variable resistor provides a resistance across two terminals, it doesn't have a polarity. So it functions the same no matter which way it's wired in.
