tuning AFM fuel vs. AFM flow => low g/s

Hi, Hondata

I calibrate the RC750cc injectors and the idle dropping to low rpm is fixed.
Next step I checked the AFM vs S.TRIM and I found, that the low air flow meter g/s in the beginning must be increased from -8 until -5% to reach "zero" but I can not set lower values as 0,00 :-)

What you need to do is tune the AFM flow table with stock injectors then tune the AFM fuel table with the 750cc injectors.

Ok

Unfortunatelly the intake of the Supercharger kit does not support stock injectors. Only RC's are supported.
Any trouble with the engine in the future if not fixed?

It makes tuning more difficult. The easiest way to recalibrate the AFM for a different intake is with stock injectors. If you can;t do that, then you're trying to change two things at once (the AFM flow and AFM fuel tables).

Hi Hondata,

Additional question about AFM fuel.
I would like to tune better the AFM fuel at the beginning but in the calibration only the following sections are available.

Unfortunately it is not possible to make an insert for new table or delete it.
How I can import the table 30.0 and 50.0? Can I drop the last tables to make that possible? (2500.0 and 2750.0)

You change the values to insert a column. Starting at the highest column, enter the value from the next lowest column. Do this for both the air mass and injector duration.

Hondata, Thanks for help.
It works good with splitting the timinigs.

In the attached calibration and the first log it read lean (5-12!). Second log all close to zero.
At the moment I tuning only the AFM flow. I think the injectors are calibrated ok.

If I am drive 70 km/h STRIM is close to zero. If Iam driving near 100 km/h STRIM is 5-6% to lean with the same AFMflow values...
What can I do to bring both to zero? I have no idea. Make the AFM flow richer ...? I think no.

It is not possible to have the same airflow at 100 kph as at 70 kph. Therefore the airflow meter is not measuring true airflow correctly.

So I can drive this without any problems in the future? In your tuning guideline you write, driving to lean will damage the engine.
Finally for safe side did you recommend to tune this part (AFMflow) a little bit richer? (Approx. 1% or 2%?)

Either switch to stock injectors in order to tune the AFM flow, or switch to speed-density tuning. Trying to tune both the AFM flow and the flow to injector duration at the same time doesn't work.

ok I will try finally to adjust the AFM fuel to get a finally result.
