Secondary Intake Runner Control

I am setting up a 2015 Civic for autocross and have used the Vtech calibrations to stop the i vtech from engaging by disabling the Vtech oil pressure switch and setting the upper and lower limits of the vtech rpm window above the rev limiter. It feels completely linear through the revs now but is not breathing at the top end because the intake runner isn't switching anymore.
Is there a way to have the intake runner still switch at a set by me rpm without the v tech happening?
I'm not sure what makes the intake change runners stock but I am thinking the change might happen when the revs hit the upper limit of the vtech rpm window. I'm contemplating setting the upper and lower limit's of the window to the same number hoping Vtech will not happen but the runner change will.
