Hello Hondata.. can you help me with this thing that has me crazy!!

I have FG2 2011 with K24A2 stage3 skunk2, flat valves and springs at 92 pounds, Hy racing chain tensioner. My engine was assembled 5 years ago... 3 months ago the car generated check code P0341
First we checked and changed all the sensors... then the VTC electric servo... then we changed the timing chain... guides, VTC... with this the error code was erased... I don't use the car much... yesterday I did a cold start and the VTC made a sound for 3 seconds... (crrr) after this the error code came back.

We checked the chain and it is fine... the timing is aligned... I cleared the error code with the FP and 5 seconds after starting the error code returns

Do you have any idea what could be happening?

It sounds like some kind of mechanical issue. You may want to have Honda take a look at it.

In your experience, could this be due to a fault in the vtec valve?

It could be any number of things. You need to go through the troubleshooting steps in the factory service manual for that error.
