K24a2 into a 2006 CR-V

Post by jaydm83 »

I have a K24a2 swapped into a 2006 CR-V that has been converted to a drive by cable throttle body and have K Pro V4 installed. Car runs good but I cannot get the RPM gauge working on my oem cluster and Kpro cannot read the VSS. My speedometer on my oem cluster does work and I have verified that the speed is correct. Has anyone come across these issues?

I had a similar issue after my K24 swap into an RSX — RPM signal wouldn’t go to the OEM cluster.

Just installed a PRB ecu and I'm having no Temp on the cluster. is there a fix for this? Do i need to install the kpro board to the original PPA ecu?

A 2006 CRV is not supported.

I had to upload the factory tune that kpro has because i replaced my battery. For some odd reason, my RPM and temp gauge started working fine. Only issue now is that the battery indicator light stays on even though my alternator is charging the battery system with 14.4 V. My big issue now is that kpro still does not read my speed while my speedometer works fine.

Do you have any suggestions on getting kpro to read the VSS? My speedometer works fine and the speed is accurate, but kpro reads 0. If I was to use the supplied harness that came with kpro, wire the red wire up to A18 (white/green wire for the VSS), would that allow kpro to receive the signal?
