2012 si Choosing MAFTuned or Reflash

Hello, I am new to the tuning community but I have a 2012 si with my goal to go FBO eventually. Right now all I have is a DC sports SRI and an axleback exhaust I made myself. I want to know which of these tunes I should run as of now, with my other goals being to decrease the revhang and other quality of life features? Thank you for the help in advance.

Try both and see what works best for you.

Do I need to be worried about running either of those tunes with my SRI? On reddit one person told me it would be a problem as there would be too much airflow because the tune is made for the stock airbox and I would run lean, but being that I have no tune right now and my car runs fine with the SRI I'd like to have some assurance that he's wrong and that either of those factory tunes will work?

All you can do is try it and see what works best and tune from there if needed.

Ok fair enough, as long as I'm not destroying my car it makes sense to play around with it. Now as a follow up question, I have heard that the stock reflash tune is a speed density based map, and the MAFTuned is a regular MAF based tune, is that true or are they both MAF based? And continuing from that, are they both made to accept mild bolt-ons or is this just something I need to figure out myself?

I prefer to run on MAP. Post the calibration you are running and a datalog. I can take a look at it and let you know how its running.
