KPro V4 locked registered owner

I just bought a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S that has a Hondata Kpro V4 but it has a registered owner, and there is a password set to change owner which I do not have. I have tried contacting the info in the Kpro with no luck. The VIN in the Kpro is the same as the car title to show my proof of ownership. Is there a way to over write the registered owner?

To get the password you will need to go to the registered owner tab and click on reset security password. It will then send a code to the registered owner email address or text to the phone number. Then you will have to contact the registered owner for that code. We do not have any access to the password and cannot reset it any other way.

I already tried that. So sounds like I am out of luck.
