P28 idle fix: available/included in S200 ROMs?

I'm running a P28 ECU on my '99 Si. I've fought with the idle for months and months, and finally got it tweaked where it's fairly stable, but it will still dip way low or oscillate occasionally.

I've read several posts now that there is an updated base ROM for the P28 that fixes the classic idle problem. (Strangely enough, I shelled out $1000+ for a stage 4 system but never heard a peep about the fix.)

I've traded in my stage 4 system to upgrade to the S200, but now I'm curious...is the same P28 idle fix already included in the S200 version of the base ROMs? Or is there a separate fix available for the S200?

Yes, the idle problem has been corrected in V3 ROMs which comes with the S200. I also traded in the Stage4 for a S200, and that was the first thing I checked.

damnit are you guys serious?

I have the p28 ecu and the Hondata stage 4b. Im about to install it because the ECU piggy back I am using (SMC) give me idle issues. I can't even start the car.

Is there a fix available for the 4b, or do I have to shell 400 F'ING more dollars to fix that also!?

I get the feeling you didn't read the first post of this thread. There's an updated base ROM for the P28 for stage 4 users that fixes the problem. Contact your dealer.
