FlashPro MAP based Calibrations vs AFM

Hey Hondata Guru's,
After much repeated searching and reading- I've found many similar examples with the car (09' Si Coupe FG2) running stock everything EXCEPT a Hybrid Racing Intake, one needs to use the MAP Based Race calibration. "AEM V2 CAI MAP Based" This ran my car beautifully, no engine lights smooth idle sounded and felt great for just the reflash.
Since it's been some time and several updates have been made, I've also read that these "Race Calibrations" cause some weird issues/loss of features and are no longer recommended to use, so I used the regular AEM V2 CAI calibration with the MAP settings in the fuel table selected, uploaded the tune successfully, but lost my oil life % function, Wrench Light came on the dash and it idles weird. Basically all the issues a race calibration would supposedly give me- the NON-RACE calibration gave me instead.
Naturally I went back to the "Race" calibration "AEM V2 CAI MAP Based" and got all the functionality back and no engine lights at all. Car runs smooth, no issues- but now I'm finding I can't see or adjust the Full Throttle Shift settings and some other things aren't popping up in the calibration window.
Anyone else experience this kind of opposite effect between AFM/MAP Calibrations?
TL;DR
Installed Hybrid Racing Intake, used "Race" /MAP Based calibration, car ran great, limited features No Full-Throttle-Shifting option available.
Used "non-race" calibration, checked off MAP settings in Fuel tab, had oil % issues, Wrench light on dash, weird idle, more features like Full-Throttle-Shifting enabled but car ran poorly.
Thanks for any input! Happy Motoring 🍻
