KPro not connecting through USB

Post by bldzrr »

Hi all I have an issue with my KPro V4. I key on ignition and green light illuminates and stays on, ECU receives power and I can connect to it through the Hondata app through bluetooth. However after trying 2 laptops and 3 different cables the issue still persists where the computer doesn’t seem to be even recognizing that a usb device is being plugged in (KPro). Nothing under Device Manager and even after installing KManager and manually installing drivers, everytime I open KManager it says USB Drivers not installed Click Here, gives an error that “USB Drivers couldn’t be installed (Error:)”. I run a USB test and it fails saying no device was found. When I plug a USB into the kpro with ignition off the green light turns on for maybe 2 seconds then goes off as if it’s detecting a connection but it just doesn’t seem to be communicating at all. I removed the board and inspected everything and there’s no signs of burnt components, USB port seems to be soldered and should be working. I am stumped as to what to try next?
