How do I datalog, and what does it do?

I’m still pretty new to using Hondata, so I have a couple of questions about datalogging.

How do I properly record a datalog with FlashPro? Is there a specific procedure I should follow, or do I just start logging and drive normally?

Also, what is a datalog mainly used for? Can it help diagnose issues like a P0171 lean code, or is it mostly for tuning and checking engine performance?

Any tips on what parameters I should be logging or what kind of drive I should do would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to record the times and driving conditions you are having an issue with. Y Ou can then go back and look at the recording and see what is happening.

All parameters are recorded you can select the data you want to see after a recording is made so you can analyze the data based on what issue you are trying to figure out.
