S300 not recognized by Windows

Customer brought in his ECU with S300 and says he can no longer connect his laptop to make changes to the calibration. I tested the S300 in another ECU and it does not connect and I tested another S300 in the customer's ECU and it connects fine. Windows does not detect the USB and the S300 does not come online.

- serial number of the s300 inside the ECU - 54585
- version of software being used (Help, About) - 2.8.9.0
- the calibration (as an attachment) - cannot connect to download but it is valid as the ECU runs fine on my SIM
- a datalog of a problem - unable to connect, Windows does not detect the USB and the S300 does not come online
- what sort of vehicle you have - Civic
- what sort of ECU you are using - P28
