thanks in advance for any help

Have you added fuel to the table right before it switches into the VTEC tables?

I'm sorry i have taken so long to reply to this, turns out a wheel speed sensor was starting to go out and it was doing all sorts of weird things but adding some fuel all around the switch point did help smooth things out significantly :)
thanks for the help!
