question about unlocking FlashPro from vehicle, Hondata Fuel System

I am having some engine work done (full engine out) and before I get it done I want to unlock the flashpro from my ECU in case something goes horribly wrong with the engine work I want to make sure I am still able to still use the flashpro in the future.
Assuming everything goes well with the engine work, and I need to reconnect my flashpro to the ecu once the engine is back in the car, I'm concerned that my Hondata Fuel System unlock may be impacted? How does that work if I unlock my flashpro from my car?
