Hello,
I’m looking for assistance troubleshooting two analog sensors connected to my Hondata K-Pro V4. I am using an AIM MXS 1.2 Strada display connected to the ECU via CAN. Both oil pressure and fluid temperature are being transmitted/displayed, but the values do not appear to accurately reflect the actual pressure and temperature.
**Vehicle:** Honda S2000
**ECU:** Hondata K-Pro V4
**K-Pro Serial Number:** 47850
**KManager Version:** 4.6.1
**Relevant Modifications:**
- Hondata K-Pro V4
- AIM MXS 1.2 Strada connected to the ECU through CAN
- AutoMeter 2246 oil-pressure sensor
- Delphi/AEM 30-2012 temperature sensor
### Oil Pressure Sensor
**Sensor:** AutoMeter 2246
Wiring:
- Sensor signal → K-Pro AN0
- 5V reference → spliced into TPS 5V reference wire
- Sensor ground → K-Pro analog harness ground
The sensor is configured through the K-Pro analog input, but the oil-pressure value displayed through the AIM dash does not accurately represent the actual oil pressure. Input stays constant at 123 PSI or 5v's.
### Fluid Temperature Sensor
**Sensor:** Delphi/AEM 30-2012
Wiring:
- Sensor signal → K-Pro AN1
- 1.5 kΩ pull-up resistor between the signal wire and 5V reference
- Sensor ground → K-Pro analog harness ground
The temperature value is also being received/displayed, but the displayed temperature does not accurately correspond with the actual fluid temperature. Input shows constant -185.2F or 4.83V's
### Problem / Questions
Both sensors appear to provide a signal to the K-Pro and the AIM dash, but the calculated pressure and temperature values are inaccurate.
I’m trying to determine whether the issue is related to:
- Analog input calibration/scaling in KManager
- Sensor calibration tables
- My 5V reference or grounding configuration
- The 1.5 kΩ pull-up resistor used for the temperature sensor
- CAN output/scaling between the K-Pro and AIM MXS 1.2
- Or another wiring/configuration issue
I have attached:
- Screenshots inside KManager
Any guidance on the proper calibration/settings for the AutoMeter 2246 on AN0 and Delphi/AEM 30-2012 on AN1 would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: K-Pro V4 Analog Input Issue – Oil Pressure and Fluid Temperature Incorrect on AIM MXS 1.2 Strada
I have resolved the issue with the oil presssure. I had pin the sensor ground to AN2 on my harness. I have corrected that and will test.
Question about fluid temp. Hondata instructions states to use a 1.5k ohm resistor between 5v ref and sensor signal. i have read in other places to use a 2.2k ohm resistor. can you confirm which i should be using.
