I Just dropped my car off to have a full 3 inch exhaust system(down pipe and thermal turbo exhaust) installed on my turbo'd gs-r. along with the nitrous express intercooler set up, what kinda numbers should i expect after retuning with the hondata. i was putting down 290 whp(16 psi) before with a tanabe dtm medallion and the nx kit wasn't in yet. i just wanted to get some hp increase numbers so i'm not dissapointed when i pick it up. :?

Might also want to look into a higher CFM compressor if you have to push 16psi for ~300whp although after tuning I'm guessing you'll hit ~350. Curious, your not running on stock rings are you?

no, the engines fully built, je pistons, rings, crower cams and rod, arp bolts, blockguard you name it. the turbo holds 16 lbs. fine. i wont turn up the boost till i get bigger injectors(i have rc 440's now). my hondata tuner did a awesome job tuning the engine so i don't want to blow it by cranking up the boost. i thought i could get some horsepower elsewhere with the n-ter-cooler kit and 3 inch full system. i sent the turbo to turbo xchange in texas and they rebuilt the td05-18g with a 20g compressor wheel. i'll probably rock this setup if i can get around 330-350whp till the end of the summer and swap injectors in the winter

I'd put the injectors and exhaust on Friday night and get it tuned Saturday morning. Once you get a higher flowing exhaust you'll run a little leaner... if your tuner didn't leave much of a window you might find out what the next weakest part of your built motor is :)
