I just looked over the cal for the KW kit and I see that the rev limit is set to 8500rpms. I thought the rev limit was lowered recently to 8200rpms? Is it safe to take my car pass 8200rpms?

Also the cal is running in open loop... should I leave it like that or change it to closed loop?

Change it to closed loop when you have the correct sensor installed.

The lower rev limit you referred to was for the reflash not the K-Pro. Feel free to drop the rev limit to 8200-8300. It will keep the Rotrex superchargers within their rated RPM range.

That is completely up to you. It is a fully tunable system.
