To connect to the FlashPro from a laptop use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar. The FlashPro should be plugged into the vehicle and the vehicle ignition must be on.
The Select Bluetooth Device window will be shown. Windows will remember previously discovered FlashPros, but will not find new FlashPros unless you use the Refresh button.
Selecting the FlashPro will connect to the FlashPro. If the FlashPro has not been paired to the laptop, then Windows go through the pairing process. The pairing code defaults to the serial number of the FlashPro, and can be changed via the FlashPro / Bluetooth window.
To disconnect from the FlashPro, use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar again.
Notes:
| • | Due to the way Windows discovers Bluetooth devices the FlashPro name may be blank until you connect to it for the first time. |
| • | If no FlashPros are shown, check that the Microsoft Bluetooth stack is being used. |
