The tab contains general FlashProManager settings.

 

Windows Themes

This enables / disables the use of Windows Themes (from Windows XP upwards).

 

Windows screen scaling allows windows to rescale user interface elements.  If unchecked then Windows will resize elements in a way that may result in blurring.

 

File Association

Associate when checked will associate calibration and datalog files with FlashProManager so that Windows explorer opens FlashProManager when a calibration or datalog is double-clicked to open it.

 

Compress datalog files reduces the size of large datalog files.

 

Automatic Updates

Automatic check for for new software version will check for software updates when FlashProManager is first run, up to once per day.  If an update is available then it may be downloaded from the Help menu.

 

Include beta software versions will additionally check for new beta software versions as well.

 

Note that even if 'Include beta software versions' is not checked, existing beta versions will be prompted to upgrade if a later production or beta software version exists.

Display message - after each upload will show a message with the result of the upload.

 

Show Mod Window - displays the modifications window when loading a calibration that supports modifications.

 

Play Sound - plays either a success (two tone drum) or failure (chime) sound at the end of an upload.

 

Send notification after upload - sends a notification to Windows that the upload has finished.

 

Disable screen saver - prevents the screen saver from operating while datalogging.

 

Calibration load use last vehicle model - if possible when loading a calibration changes the calibration to the correct vehicle model, based off the vehicle model from the last FlashPro that was plugged in.

 

Calibration load use FlashPro vehicle - if possible when loading a calibration changes the calibration to the correct vehicle model, based off the vehicle model in the FlashPro that is plugged in.

 

USB Driver Check

 

Driver Check shows a balloon hint from the status bar if there is a problem with the USB driver.
