To connect to the S300 from a laptop use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar. The vehicle ignition must be on.
The Select Bluetooth Device window will be shown. Windows will remember previously discovered s300s, but will not find new s300s unless you use the Refresh button.
Selecting the S300 will connect to the S300. If the S300 has not been paired to the laptop, then Windows go through the pairing process. The pairing code defaults to the serial number of the s300, and can be changed via the S300 / Bluetooth window.
To disconnect from the S300, use the Online / Bluetooth menu or click on the Bluetooth button in the toolbar again.
Notes:
| • | Due to the way Windows discovers Bluetooth devices the s300 name may be blank until you connect to it for the first time. |
| • | If no S300s are shown, check that the Microsoft Bluetooth stack is being used. |
