This tab contains 'Valet mode' and security (theft prevention) settings.
Valet Settings 'Valet mode' will limit engine speed and set a boost cut when an arming input is set.
Note that the valet input is only checked once when the key is first switched on and the ECU powered up.
To disable valet mode, set the valet input to 'disabled'.
Security Settings Upon ECU power on the ECU can check inputs and disable the injectors if the inputs are out of specification. This prevents the engine starting.
There are two types of checks that can be performed:
Required throttle position The throttle position must be between the values when the key is switched on. eg 25 & 50% requires the throttle to be between 25% and 50% down then the ECU is powered up. Immediately after power up, the throttle position does not mater.
Switched inputs Inputs can be checked to prevent the engine starting unless the input is on or off. A setting of 'unused' will ignore the input.
Example settings: Do not start the engine unless the throttle is between 25-50% on key on, and the brake switch is on.
Note that the throttle position and inputs are only checked once when the key is first switched on and the ECU powered up.
To disable security, uncheck the throttle position check and set all switch inputs to 'unused'.
